Bay Area Pediatric Medical Group, Inc. participates in all of the major California HMOs and most PPO and private health insurance plans. We also participate in MediCal through the Health Plan of San Mateo. For information about BAPMG Business Office policies regarding HMOs and PPOs click here.

HMOs

Bay Area Pediatric Medical Group, Inc. works with two major IPAs so that we can give our patients a wide variety of choices of HMO physician and hospital networks. Each IPA has a distinct group of specialty physicians and ancillary service arrangements. The HMO will require you to pick one of our Physicians as your PCP (Primary Care Physician) and to specify the IPA which you would like to participate. As long as you have chosen one of our physicians as your PCP you can see any of our physicians at any of our offices.

Great West HMO, Healthnet HMO and Pacificare HMO.

Brown & Toland specialty physician network is predominately in San Francisco.

Mills Peninsula Medical Group

Please refer to your insurance company provider directory or call the phone number on your ID card to verify Bay Area Pediatric Medical Group participation in your PPO/EPO.
