San Carlos Staff

Dr. Newman has been with Bay Area Pediatric Medical Group since August 2006. He comes to the practice having worked for 3 years as a inpatient physician caring for hospitalized and critically ill children. He received his A.B. in Biochemistry from Harvard University in 1995 and conducted research on superoxide and regulation of the genetic cascade after oxidative damage in the cell.

He received his medical degree from Stanford University Schoool of Medicine. As a medical student at Stanford, he also conducted research on retroviral vectors for gene transfer. He completed his residency training in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School at the Children's Hospital of Boston. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Newman works primarily in our San Carlos office. He is fluent in Spanish and French. His main hospital association is through Sequoia hospital. He is a member of Mills Peninsula Medical Group and of the Peninsula Hospital Perinatal Quality Assurance Committee.

Dr. Newman's interests in pediatrics involve nutrition and its role in inflammatory disorders, immune function, behavior and healing. He is committed to help families find effective ways to promote a conditon of optimum health.

Dr. Newman is married and enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Wall has been with Bay Area Pediatrics since 1997. Dr Wall received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University in 1978. He attended Medical School at the Medical University of South Carolina and graduated in 1983. He did his postgraduate training in Pediatrics at Dartmouth University Medical Center and completed his residency in 1986. Prior to joining BAPMG, Dr. Wall worked at the Fallon Medical Center in Westborough, Mass. Dr. Wall is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Wall works primarily at our Belmont Office. His main hospital affiliations are Sequoia Hospital, Mills Peninsula Hospital and California Pacific Medical Center. He is currently accepting new patients. He is a member of the Mills Peninsula Medical Group. Dr Wall is comfortable with the care of all age groups in Pediatrics.

He is married and has one son.
