Dr. Barra-Stevens has been with BAPMG since 1991. She is a native of New York and received her Bachelor of Science from Queens College/City University of New York. She attended Boston University School of Medicine graduating in 1987. She did her postgraduate work in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Northern California. Dr. Barra-Stevens is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Barra-Stevens works primarily in the Seton Office in Daly City. She is fluent in Spanish. Her main hospital affiliations are Seton Medical Center, Mills Peninsula Hospital and Sequoia Hospital. She is a member of the Brown & Toland Medical Group. She is married to a Bay Area rheumatologist and has two children of her own. She enjoys her time off with her family, cooking, skiing and traveling. She also generously donates considerable time to the care of uninsured children at the RotaCare clinic at Seton.

Dr. Ribeiro has been with Bay Area Pediatric Medical Group since 1991. She attended the University of California, Berkeley where she received her Bachelor of Science in 1980. From there she attended the University of California, Davis School of Medicine receiving her M.D. in 1985. Dr. Ribeiro did her postgraduate work in Pediatrics at the University of Southern California/L.A. County Hospital. She completed her Residency in Pediatrics in 1989.

Dr. Ribeiro works mainly in our Seton Office in Daly City. She is fluent in Spanish. Her main hospital affiliations are California Pacific Medical Center and Seton Medical Center. She is a member of the Brown & Toland Medical Group. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr Ribeiro is the mother of two daughters.

   

Eric Perez, MD

Dr. Perez has been with Bay Area Pediatric Medical Group since 1988. He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he received his Bachelor of Science in 1981. From there he attended the Hahnemann University School of Medicine, receiving his M.D. in 1985. Dr. Perez did his postgraduate work in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of San Francisco. He completed his Residency in Pediatrics in 1988.

Dr. Perez works mainly in our Seton office in Daly City. His main hospital affiliations are California Pacific Medical Center and Seton Medical Center, where he is the immediate past Chairman of Pediatrics at Seton.

He is a member of the Brown & Toland Medical Group. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Perez has a special interest in the use of technology in the practice of medicine. He serves as the Director of Information Systems for BAPMG.

Dr. Perez is married and has three children.

   

Amita Jain, MD

Dr Jain has been with Bay Area Pediatrics since 1991. She attended the Stanford University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1983. From there she went to Northwestern University School of Medicine where she received her M.D. in 1988. She did her postgraduate work in Pediatrics at the University of California, Davis and completed her residency in Pediatrics in 1991. Dr Jain is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Jain works mainly in our Seton Office in Daly City. Her primary hospital affiliations are Seton Medical Center and California Pacific Medical Center. She is a Member of the Brown & Toland Medical Group. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Jain is active in sports and enjoys tennis and skiing. She is also an experienced traveler. She is married with one child.

   

Alice Breder, MD

Dr. Breder has been with BAPMG since 1992. She attended medical school at the University of P.J. Safarik in Czechoslovakia, graduating in 1975. She practiced pediatrics in Czechoslovakia for 8 years. Upon arrival in the United States she repeated her postgraduate training in pediatrics at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Francisco.

Dr. Breder works primarily in our Seton office in Daly City. She speaks three foreign languages including Slovak, Russian and Hungarian. Her main hospital affiliations are Seton Medical Center and California Pacific Medical Center. She is a member of the Brown and Toland Medical Group. Dr. Breder is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr Breder is married and has two children. She enjoys reading, music, and the outdoors.
